I hope not !
I want to see the father and son team in the garage putting a new top end on their bike the night before the race. I'd rather not see mom and dad working a side job to pay for the
kids bike, because of the high cost for dealer repairs due to the complex nature of the next generation bike.
I realize we would like the option of both types of bikes. The situation is that the decision is not ours. With the exception of KTM and Yamaha (at least for now) the decision has been made for us.
I used to love my carbureted pick-up, so I could repair it without a
$1,500 scanner or a trip to the dealer. That decision was made for me, as well.
Convince me PLEASE, that the two stroke does not have a terminal diagnosis. Not with wish and want, but with data that the big four will be building them in the future.
Until then, ride bing-ba-bing, my two stroke brothers.
